People come to Bio-Mechanics of Las Vegas for a variety of reasons, often because they are in pain. Some go for symptomatic relief of pain or discomfort only. Others are more interested in having the cause of the problem, as well as the symptoms, corrected and relieved. We weigh your needs and desires when recommending your personalized treatment program. My goals are to improve your quality of life and to reduce your dependence on passive therapy.

On your first visit, we will answer the following questions:
- What’s causing my problem?
- What’s Active Release Techniques® (or ART®)?
- Can Active Release Techniques® help me?
- Can chiropractic care help me?
- How much will it cost?
- How long will it take?
But first…
One of the most important aspects of the first visits is to make sure that you are in the right place. If it is determined that your particular problem is not something which we can help you with, a prompt referral will be made to the appropriate specialist.
What To Expect
You might wonder what to expect if this is your first visit to the Bio-Mechanics of Las Vegas. It’s not uncommon to have some anxiety if you’ve never been treated by a chiropractic physician. But not to worry, it can be a pleasant experience. I will make every effort to schedule a timely appointment and keep that appointment. We have streamlined our entire new patient process to make it easier for you to check in/out and to protect your privacy.
Your First Visit
On your first visit to our office, I will have some initial paperwork for you to fill out. These forms include an Informed Consent to Treat Form, an Uncovered Benefits Form (if applicable), and a HIPPA Release Form. We have streamlined our entire new patient process to make it easier for you to check in/out and to protect your privacy. Our state-of-the-art Electronic Medical Records (EMR) System will ask you questions regarding your medical history and background providing us a brief overview of your chief complaints and/or secondary complaints, past injuries or surgeries, diagnostic or lab tests, current medications and dosage, nutrition, activity level, and occupation. I will use this information to evaluate you prior to the physical exam. However, I may ask you more detailed questions before he starts the actual examination.
You will have a physical examination similar to that of any medical physician including orthopedic and neurological tests concentrating on your current complaint. You need to understand that the entire body is a fully integrated system and one part is not independent from the other. I would not do justice simply examining only the area of complaint. I will also look at other areas that may be contributing to your complaint.
Once the exam is completed, I will explain the findings to you and lay out a personalized course of treatment. I may prescribe some physical modalities similar to those used in a physical therapy office in order to speed the recovery and healing process. These may include ice, heat, and rehabilitation exercises.
